Frequently Asked Questions

I placed my order, but now I want to cancel it. How do I do that?

Please call us if you want to cancel your order before you've picked it up. We may issue a partial or complete refund at our sole discretion. You may call us during our business hours, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM from Tuesday to Saturday.

Why are your store hours listed wrong on the Pickup Scheduler in my cart?

The hours listed there aren't quite our store hours - they're the hours that we are open for online pickups. Because online orders can get pretty big, we like to have a window of time after we open to make sure we've got all of the orders for the day prepped and ready.

Why can't I select the pickup time I want?

The time you're trying to select may not be available. Our products take time to make and prepare, and some take more than others. As a rule of thumb, a typical order requires a 1-hour notice. Certain items, such as full cakes, may require 24 hours or more, and particularly large orders will also require additional time. If you're still not sure, please feel free to call us for help or to place your order over the phone.

Do you make custom birthday/graduation/baby shower/etc. cakes?

Yes, but only on a strict seven-day notice. More information here.

Can you make my wedding/formal event cake?

We are primarily focused on our mission of providing birthday cakes to the community and employing special needs adults, so we currently don't have the capability to make cakes with multiple tiers. If you would like a single-tier cake, however, we would love to help! We just aren't here to compete with other bakeries.

I am special needs or I know someone with special needs. Can I/they get a job?

Of course! Just be aware that we hire on a strict first-come-first-serve basis, and at present we have a waiting list.
